The 255XD is Yamaha’s flagship wakesurfer, 24.5 feet long with a 102-inch beam and built around twin supercharged 1.8L SVHO engines producing 500 combined horsepower through Yamaha’s jet propulsion system. The fiberglass hull carries 12 people and seats them across a stadium transom layout with a 12.3-inch Connext touchscreen at the helm. It runs on a 1,600-lb triple ballast system that loads the wake, and the SurfPointe system paired with DRiVE X joystick maneuvering lets you dial in the shape and hold position without a prop to worry about. The 75-gallon fuel tank and 4,694-lb dry weight give it the mass and range to handle a full day of riding.
