Compare Yamaha & Thunder Jet Jet Boats
Yamaha and Thunder Jet both build jet-powered boats, but they are set up for different kinds of days on the water. Yamaha’s jet boats are built around comfort and ease of use, with deck boat and bowrider style layouts suited to swimming, tubing, and general family recreation. Thunder Jet’s jet boats are built heavier, with welded aluminum construction designed for rougher, shallower, or debris-filled water, which makes them a strong fit for anglers and boaters who venture off the main lake.
The honest question to answer before buying either: where will the boat spend most of its hours? Answer that and the Yamaha-or-Thunder-Jet decision usually makes itself. The team at Whitefish Marine will talk it through with you at 406-862-8594.

Shop New Jet Boats for Sale in Montana
Jet boat stock at Whitefish Marine splits between Yamaha’s family models and Thunder Jet’s welded-aluminum river hulls, and it runs thinner than prop boat stock, so timing matters. Call 406-862-8594 before driving over and the team will confirm what’s on the floor. A jet drive means no exposed propeller and a draft shallow enough for water that turns prop boats back.
