Boat Description
The 2026 Boston Whaler 160 Super Sport is a 16-foot side-console runabout on Whaler’s foam-cored unsinkable hull, with a 6-foot-10 beam, a 15-degree transom deadrise, and a shallow 10-inch draft that gets into thin water easily. The self-bailing cockpit hoses out clean, and the layout includes dual aft swim platforms, a lockable console compartment, a swim ladder, and several seating options up front. Whaler rigs it with a Mercury fourstroke, 75 or 90 horsepower, with an optional ski tow for towing the kids. It tows behind almost anything, launches single-handed, and fits in a standard garage.
This is the easy second boat or first boat, the kind that gets into the quiet shallows of Echo Lake or a back bay on Flathead where bigger hulls can’t follow. The foam-cored build shrugs off a chop on a calm-water day, and the shallow draft makes beaching and launching simple all season. The 160 Super Sport is at Whitefish Marine.
